Some exercises to practise vocabulary

Hello, year six, it's me again!

Now the vocabulary. It looks like a lot, but they are all very quick and easy to do:

Containers:

Kitchen:

Living-room:

Bedroom:

Bathroom:

Drinks:

Food:

Fruit:

Meat and fish:

Vegetables:

Speaking practice:

Now use the vocabulary you have just revised to describe these pictures, talking for as long as you can. Look up any words you don't know. Make as many guesses about the people in the pictures as you can, for example, (top picture) the women at the table could be looking at their holiday photos, or perhaps (bottom picture) the girl has fallen asleep at her desk because she has been studying for too long, etc. Use these expressions:

Maybe

Perhaps

the man could be....

the woman might be....

The waiter is probably....

Keep up the good work, everybody!
